Fibromyalgia May Qualify You for Social Security Disability Benefits

For people suffering with fibromyalgia, the impact of chronic pain has a terrible effect on their lives. The medical condition is characterized by a widespread pain that can be set off by even a gentle touch. But it is more than just the pain that makes it impossible to work and perform simple functions on the job. There is often fatigue, lack of sleep and stiffness that make it nearly impossible to accomplish common tasks.
